There’s bass ponds in every development near you. You got the Indian river inlet 10 minutes away… You can walk on the surf and catch small fish with fish bites or bigger toothy ones at night with some cut bait.
I’m in Bethany right next to ocean view.
Lmk if you have trouble catching - I’ll get ya on a fish 🤙

JOS - So cool. Thanks for the info. I was tuned into kite fishing videos all last nite.

I also do well on smaller madmacs in fresh water.
Good luck this weekend and have a nice Father’s Day! My little guy and I plan to do some fishing as well!

Hey Matt welcome to the forum! I’m in southeast pa, Delaware and Chester counties, but I can tell ya the Susquehanna is a heck of a watershed for smallmouth and catfish - especially flatheads.
Post em when ya catch em! 🤙

Nice work Scott! 🤙 30” doggie in the surf will bend a rod and give a fun fight.
What’s your go to rig for fluke off the surf?

Hey JOS - I really like the nomad Minnows and Madmacs. I’m super intrigued about kite fishing them. I’ve heard of kite fishing live bait, but have never done it. I’m interested and will be looking it up tonite for sure.
- Do you have a lot of success with the kite?

That’s real nice and very shallow for the Goldens. How long of a run is it to the Canyons?
We have to fish 900 to 1,200ft to find nice big one but only 3 miles off shore the Yellows do pass through but I target them in the Islands in the Exhumas and the Abacos.
Do you get snowy grouper or mystic groupers up that far north?

We leave out of Longport NJ. It takes us about 2.5 hours to get to the Baltimore and poor mans canyon. Not too much grouper action up here.

Nice fish, sorry about the one that got away!! Where are you fishing and at what water depth was the Golden Tiles at? I like the dredge unit odd your outrigger pole, a lot smaller than the ones we pull way out east for marlin and large Yellows.

Thanks for the pictures, SOB

JOS - We fished the Baltimore canyon for the tilefish. Between 350-400 feet. We picked up the tuna a little more south at the poor mans canyon.
