Unfortunately it’s our future. No insurance coverage, vacations, sick days, overtime pay, union strikes. It would be interesting in knowing how long it takes before they start paying off monetarily.

Got about 5-6” so far with another 5-6 on the way. Wind is howling out there. I’m four houses off the ocean but we aren’t expecting any flooding. We’ve built a pretty strong dune network since Sandy.

Thanks BigA. There was a local tackle shop just up the road from where we stayed which was very helpful. Unfortunately they closed a few years ago. I’m limited to the kyak so my range not that big. I find most of the fish in +/- 30 ft of water, and around the private docks early mornings.

Fishing Stage Friend,
Heartfelt thanks for the wonderful wishes. Although I have never met any members I can feel the sincerity in each of you. This group is more than just a fishing forum. It is a great group of caring individuals that are willing to offer support and prayers to those in need. Thanks, and may God Bless each of you. JohnG

Welcome
I kyak fish LG once a year while on vacation. We stay at Diamond Cove. I catch a decent number of bass but no real size. I haven’t ventured very far from that area but I’m sure there are hot spots I’m missing.

There are stripers that winter in the back bays on the south shore so thats a possibility. Its also herring season, so they might be chasing them. Striper season is over but you can catch and release.

I just read where Dr Perry Kory, the Ivermectin Dr, is now prescribing Spironolactone and Dutasteride for c***d if Ivermectin doesn't work. Good Luck with that. That's what boys take to become girls.

Ivermectin appears to work from all reports but it will never be touted as such. No money in it for big pharma.

The offshore one will be at some point this summer 😳

Reminds me of the saying when you’re seasick. “You feel like you’re going to die, and you wish you would.”

In my youth I did too many trips out of Montauk NY on party boats where I was in that position. Ah youth.
