Thanks Andy. Iā€™m Greg from the Ocean City area. I really liked your pictures. I was very interested how u place the hook in the worm. If you could show me a close up.., it would be most appreciated.

Hear you go. Don't berry the hook in the worm. Just put a little of the hook in it. You will get more hook ups. If your fishing for bass wait about two seconds then set the hook. Good Luck! OH and close to bottom. Best coming over logs or coming over something or thru bushes.

4/15/24 Caught some pretty good crappie this morning. I released most but kept three good ones. All caught with 2.5" gulp Minnows on Jerry's little gold jig.

4/14/24 I fished along the beach today and walked to Venice beach before I turned around and came back. I started out fishing for ladyfish with a one inch white bucktail jig. I caught three of them and also caught a 15 inch snook with it. I switched over to a white DOA shrimp and started catching flounder instead of the trout was looking for. I wound up catching 7 flounder...most of them under 13 inches but did catch and keep one 14 1/2 incher. I kept thinking the next flounder I caught would be a good one but that never happened. I wound up catching 6 ladyfish 7 flounder and the small snook. I didn't take piturres of all the small flounder I caught. Was a fun day of fishing. beach fishing report for the no boat people that like to play/fish along the beach. Report from Bro In-Law Don.

Absolutely not! I hate those tournaments. Despise them. I have seen dozens of dead Bass floating after there."Weigh ins". They fill up Mattowomen creek with there horrid Bass boats. I am a Bas fisherman though. I do not use nets and put them back in thecwater asap. If they are over 4cpiunds I take a quick pic then let them go. I lup grip them. I handle them as little as possible. I apologize though. I don't mean to be judgemental, criticize or sound sanctimonious. People do what they do

I hate to see them handheld like like. Laying them o. The ground but beautiful bass though

I handheld them much better then the Bass Tournaments do. I don't weight them. I get them back in the water right away. Are you a Md. Bass Tournament Fisherman?

If you release them, why is there a limit?

HOLY CRAP! LOL! The law is you can only keep Five bass. That is the limit. Five bass limit. OK? But you can also release them. Most fishermen do release them.

4/11/24 LMB are hitting good in the morning. It is fun if you like bass fishing. Most caught with a 7.5" Culprit Grape/Purple Worm. One on a Dead Ringer Worm. All caught in no more then three or four feet of water.
