4/9/24 Still know how to catch bass after all these years. Caught a limit of nice bass this morning with a salted ring worm. I call them ring worms. Not the real name. Looks like it's on Guys and Gals. Marshy Hope Creek bass from shore, but not in the marina.

Those are some nice sized bass Andy! Nicely done. Are they beginning to bed up there, then? That's the only time I see the big girls come up shallow.

I haven't seen any beds yet, but they are in shallow water now. I caught these in about 3' of water.

Looks like you had a nice day.
Good job thanks for sharing.
The last post I remember, you had a little jig on a bobber in cold water. Howβd you fish the ring worm?

Fished it very slow along the bottom rigged like this.

I handheld them much better then the Bass Tournaments do. I don't weight them. I get them back in the water right away. Are you a Md. Bass Tournament Fisherman?
Absolutely not! I hate those tournaments. Despise them. I have seen dozens of dead Bass floating after there."Weigh ins". They fill up Mattowomen creek with there horrid Bass boats. I am a Bas fisherman though. I do not use nets and put them back in thecwater asap. If they are over 4cpiunds I take a quick pic then let them go. I lup grip them. I handle them as little as possible. I apologize though. I don't mean to be judgemental, criticize or sound sanctimonious. People do what they do
