4/15/24 Caught some pretty good crappie this morning. I released most but kept three good ones. All caught with 2.5" gulp Minnows on Jerry's little gold jig.

I do like hearing guys catching and keeping only what they want for a meal or two, and releasing the rest...they are a blast to catch and the stupidly excessive limits on Crappie are changing the dynamics of great Crappie lakes.
Near here Berryessa has been a fantastic Crappie lake that kicked out limits of really big fish...hundreds of guys hammering limits of spawning fish is already altering the numbers and size of the fish.
