Going back to work this school year is out and during next school year she'll have surgery to try and reverse the ostomy so she will miss more work. Perhaps when this is finally all over she can get a different position at school and work part time or something else all together. Glad to hear Cassie is improving. The ostomy isn't the end of the world, I have had mine for 25 years now it has become just a part of life with good and not so good points.
