Cassie has gotten better and stronger. She was finally cleared to drive two weeks ago but still has some discomfort. Still getting used to the ostomy and her skin is sensitive to the adhesive.

Going back to work this school year is out and during next school year she'll have surgery to try and reverse the ostomy so she will miss more work. Cassie also decided she doesn't want to go back to full time work so she and the school district mutally agreed early retirement is best. She's 65 so she can get medicare. Perhaps when this is finally all over she can get a different position at school and work part time or something else all together. It's not in her nature to not work at all, just finally slow down a little.

Glad to hear that she continues to improve Ed. She's one tough cookie. Please give her my best wishes. You have also done a stellar job adapting and helping her recover Ed. Kudos to you as well. 👍🏻👍🏻🙏
