About a month ago I had problems with my Dodge Dakota 4x4 rear end and transmission. Talking a $3,900 fix job. So we let it sit awhile next to our camping trailer. We wake early one morning as repair buddy was to come get it. Some nut job, drilled a hole and stole him a gas can full, but ran off like a jack rabbit when We walked outside, we smelled gas fumes strong, quickly we grabbed all our gas cans and large pans to catch 20 gallons of fuel, with teamwork we saved 17 gallons. We plugged the hole in our truck's tank with JB Weld for plastics. Put $40 in it yesterday morning and the hole is back! I'm just 9 day's away from my surgery on my back, this is the last thing I needed. The world has gone nuts!

Some people will steal your chewing gum stuck under the Church pews if they thought it's worth a penny! Launching my boat at the state park ramps, my brother's and a family friend came along, all the rod and reels were in the station wagon, they were making a few gear trips back and forth loading the boat. Some young guy's snuck out between some bushes and swiped $600 worth of rod's. I jumped into the wagon and raced to the guard shack, luckily there was a line of campers checking out and I saw my newer ones sticking out their cars window. I yelled and ran to the shack they stole my poles!! The Ranger was in the main office and busted them. Instead of fishing, I spent the rest of the day filing charges at the Sheriff office. I feel your frustration dealing with crooks.

Drew, you might want to consider the clamp on mounts for your seats. The problem with small boats is balance, from left to right. Unless you put everything with any weight to it, dead center in the boat, it will lean towards the heavier side. With the clamp on mounts you can offset the seats to maintain a level balance. It also changes depending on the size of your passenger, or lack of one. Just something I've learned from experience, when I had my little 12 footer. I have a 14 deep V now and have my seats mounted on slides so I can adjust their locations. Good luck and Tight Lines.
