When is the tournament?

Rich here. I live in Leesburg on Lake Griffin. Haven't been out lately. Crazy weather, 30 one day 2 days later 80. Fish don't know what the hell is going on. Just need to search and fish slow.
Do you in Leesburg? If so if interested perhaps we can hook up and do some fishing.

Welcome, Rich here. I use to live in Titusville and fish the Indian River for trout and Reds. Would also fish Daytona and New Smyrna.most of the time would catch fish.
After I got my bigger boat would run out of Port Canaveral to the stream. 30 miles, long run.
Love the color of the Gulf Stream and normally do pretty good, Mahi Mahi and Wahoo, great fighting fish.
I now live in Leesburg, (1 hour from Daytona) on the Harris Chain of Lakes
Freshwater, totally a different type of fishing.
How long will you be in the area?

Where in Florida are you living?

Rich here, I use to live in Titusville at LaCita. Fished Indian River, trout and Reds. Got a bigger boat and would go out of Canaveral to the stream. Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo. Long day, leave Titusville marina, through the locks at Canaveral and then 30 miles to the stream. Several times would boat to Ft. Pierce, spend the night at Coconut Cove motel on the inlet.
Safe inlet and shorter run to the stream. Much safer than Sebastian.
Now live in Leesburg on Lake Griffin (Harris Chain Of Lakes) and have become a fresh water fisherman, Bass and Crappie. If interested. Perhaps we can trade turn fishing locations. About 11/2 hrs apart.

It's great to take a few steps outside your door and start fishing, isn't it? Catching Bass and Crappie,enjoying the beautiful scenery from my boat and having a cool one along the way.
I guess you fish mostly salt water, correct?
