Hi Geno, I live just a few miles from you. I been going to corsons inlet catching flounder on a 1 oz bucktail with 3 inch white or yellow gulp. Lots of shorts but plenty of action. Good luck! JD

Thanks bottomcoon, Glad your happy with these reels as much as I am. I know there are a lot better reels out there. I have a few penn reels that are just as good. Maybe I'm just stuck in the 80's

Oldest fishing rod you own!

Found this rod and reel at a thrift store for $9.00. Reel is common, rod is a Premax. Rod slides in handle. Has a clamp and extends to 57". Can't find any info on it!
