Great topic!!!!
I have to pipe in on this one. I read about a woman not long ago that ordered one of those at Burger King and she was accidentally given a regular burger. She was talking about suing them for it and made headlines.

I actually stopped going to Burger King when they rolled that out for fear that I would order a regular burger and inadvertently get one of those nasty things.

My kids make fun of me as I am the quintessential carnivore.
I prefer to eat BBQ Ribs and really anything that has a bone in it so that when I eat it, I really feel like I am eating an animal that was once alive and is now dead.

Like the old bumper sticker says, "If God didn't want us to eat animals, Why would he make them out of meat?"

That's hysterical PLS!!!!

I think I'm the guy losing all the stuff in the waters that you all are describing.
I can imagine that an open umbrella would be one hell of a fight!!

I use a really nice Humminbird Fish Finder that is more capable than I am and I barely know how to use it.
I bought it during the first year of Covid. I couldn't get the one that I wanted but only this huge screen unit.
It's probably more commonly used for charter fisherman and people with larger boats than I have. It looks a little ridiculous, to be honest. It's like having a 80" TV in a small bathroom.
My son bought me an underwater camera for Christmas that I haven't used yet.
And I musky fish. I think it is unlikely that I would spot a musky on the camera. But I plan to use it to visually inspect fish cover, just to see what I am casting through or near.
And in the flowage I fish, I see odd things on my fish finder all the time that I will use the camera to help identify.
I saw something under the water a couple years ago that was clearly man made. But since I have no idea how to know the size of it from my fish finder, the camera will solve the mystery.
My guess is that it's either a Volkswagen Van or an old refrigerator. It is that shape.
But I see odd things under the water all the time there and this unit should help to identify the structures.
My awesome son should not have spent his hard earned money on me.
I always tell the kids that, but they never listen.

Good one.
My wife would likely take that deal.
And she doesn't drink.

Amazing!!!!
Great signs.
The Walmart people photos do make enjoying my morning coffee a little less enjoyable, though.
Hysterical!!

Good Stuff, RJS!!!!
The little snippets of what we remember are always good to share.
I have about 4 or 5 epic stories that I will share, hopefully, after the holidays.
Cool stories and most of them have some interesting bit of a moral lesson behind them.
One memorializes my Grandfather, one of the toughest men ever.
His plane crash, which he thankfully survived.
But the childhood stories are priceless.
Your story reminded me of the photo here. This is the early 70's.
I wanted to dress up like a cowboy, but didn't have enough garb to pull it off.
The I wanted to be an "Indian", but again, did not have enough to pull that off either.
So, I combined the two to become the first Cowboy/ Indian.
I think I nailed it!

Have a good day.
Thank you for sharing!

Actually up in the area of Hayward, Wisconsin they have an annual Pickled Pike competition.
They have a trophy and everything. I sampled it and was blown away at how good it was and the bones dissolve as James said above.
I didn't think I'd like it, but it was very good.
Something about pickled fish just sounds bad.

Cool observations! I love watching the geese, but hate it when they hang around and leave presents all around for my dogs to consume.
At my Northern Wisconsin cabin which I bought in Jan this year, there is a creek behind the house. I see ducks playing around in the creek often. I try to sneak out to try to get close enough to see what type of ducks they are.
In Michigan, where I am at, if ducks see you, they come over for Ritz crackers or bread.
Up there they scam as soon as they spot me. I still have no idea what they are. I have to get some binoculars up there. But still doing some minor construction. Next year.
Thanks. God Bless.
