I subscribe to the Guides Forecast. Bob Reese gives a forecast of all the main rivers in the Northwest every week. He has affiliate guides that he gets a lot of info from. You can subscribe for free or become a paid member for around $25 a year. The paid membership is more complete and will give more info on all rivers.
If its not a bite its the bottom or a hit and run
The Indian river has a blue fish run in the spring. They bite good on jigs. You can also catch other fish there. Blue fish are really oily so in my opinion they aren't that good eating but they are salmon and steelhead size and fun to catch. You could also fish in Ocean City Md. for sea trout. Ocean City is a fun place to hang out for the day. Here is a link to to Delaware fishing places. https://www.destateparks.com/Adventures/Fishing I lived in Delaware for 17 years. Good luck with your search.

Would like to know where and when the best trout fishing is in my area. I'm in the mid-Willamette valley area. Thank you.
Go to the OFWD website. Look for stocking schedule and scroll down to find areas you would like to go. The best time is Spring through the Fall. Most areas are open year around check the regs. to make sure.
