Keep us posted on your trips.

We were on the West Branch of the Ausable last month & utilized the Hungry Trouts’ guides for the first day of our trip. We used the newly acquired information on the area during the rest of our stay. Water was low & clear and required a stealthy approach. We got into a bunch of 11-16” browns. Biting black flys we’re a nuisance.

Now THAT is a sweet lookin' spot!!

Nice, good fishies. Love to take a single rod and a single presentation and just go FISH.

Hey fellas,
Hope you're having a great week! We had big storms up here in Minocqua, Wisconsin last night. My wife and I got rained out, but I was able to get out with Dad this morning and he caught SIX to my ONE... but mine was a 3 pounder. I forgot how healthy and fat the smallmouth up here get. Our Illinois river & creek bass are long and slender - still strong - but these really are footballs. We've been coming up here for years and it is just like new all over again: https://theminimalistfisherman.com/fishing-the-manitowish-chain-o-lakes-by-minocqua-wisconsin/

HOPEFULLY... hopefully we do well these next 10 days. We shall see.

(This one was in 11 feet of water, caught on a live leech and a black 1/16th ounce Slo-Poke jig on 8 lb test fluorocarbon.)

Have a great week!

After you remove the hub, look to see if there's a number stamped on it.

At $45 apiece, you’re going to spend at least $90 to complete a task that is probably $20 at most.
Not knowing the hub size is ok. Take the old hub with you when you go for the new one. They can take the measurements to ensure you get the right size.

Noted - thank you!
