Whenever you have a sudden drop in temp. most fish will shut down for awhile. That can be true ,but just a temp drop be itself will not do it. Example we had that this weekend ,but i fished on sat. and caught 20 nice bass , 1 catfish, and an old cast net. If u still have good cloud cover the fishing can still be good. But if u have a sudden drop in temp and skies r clear with strong north wind ,then it can be trouble.

For the knowledgeable fisherman the depth finder is a great aid. But if you don't have the proper fishing knowledge its just another thing you wasted money on!

I was trolling a 250 spoonplug this past sat. morning on a #2 flatland reservior. Had caught several bass and a couple cats when I hit a snag. I knew it was someone's old fishing line. Go back to the snag and get my plug. Start pulling in the old line, then I see the tip of a fishing rod so I land a baitcaster rod and reel so I keep pulling in the old line thinking i will see his lure. After pulling in a good bit of line I see another rod tip this one is a spinning rod and reel.So thats my 1st double of landing 2 rods and reels at the same time.

there is no comparrision a good 16 'jon boat is a great all around boat you can pick up a good used one for not too much cash. kayak really don't know why anyone would by one you put so many limits on yourself in a kayak.
plumbob a kayak is great if you want to fish from a kayak. But I see guys all the time trying to fish the bigger lakes from a kayak and yes they can pick a small area and make cast.but as I said thats a limitations. Also I was speaking from the bigger picture of fishing. That boat allows one to go most anywhere. big lakes small lakes rivers creeks, and I know you can put a kayak on those also. But what you cannot do on a kayak is to control your depth and speed.I myself have a 20'bass boat really love fishing from it.But I also have a open 16' boat with a 40 hp tiller .When I fish from my bass boat I put limitations on myself. My 16 tiller is by far the more versitile boat ready and able to control all aspects of depth and speed control both casting and trolling, and trust me at times you need to troll a lure up to 10mph to make a bass strike the plug. You cannot do this on a kayak or my bass boat.As far as steve-o I fish by myself most of the time it is no problem to launch or load either of my boats by myself and I donot have to ever get in the water to do so.

barometric pressure, low pressure usually = low light conditions, high pressure= washed out sky, bright sun, so its really a light condition that affects the fish not the pressure itself.
