You need to show that to Slat, maybe he'll pay those IOUs. Mike

Awesome fish. I just want a 10 and I will be in heaven. I'll weigh, take measurement, take pictures and then turn her loose and sit there to make sure she is OK. I will probably go home after that cause it will be hard to beat and don't want to be disappointed nor do I want to be greedy.

A really nice fish BB, any idea what she would have weighed before she spawned? Her belly is sucked right in. congrats! Thank you for sharing.

don't really know flyguy
some guy told me it would be two pounds
other guy said maybe half pound
don't think anyone would know unless they could have weighed the eggs
BTW
She was released as soon as the pic was made

I wondered and hoped you returned her but I didn't want to ask. Is her replica on the wall or in a glass case? My 30 5/8" walleye, caught in 2002, is in a glass case be because my bride said, "not on my wall!" The case cost me another $500.00. It was also caught after spawning and had a sunken belly.

Nice bass ! My personal best (so far) was 5-3/4 lbs.
and I thought that was great ! Still waiting/hoping to catch that 10-lb.(or bigger) hawg, but my time's getting short; just hope it happens before I croak ! Regarding trophies; mounts are way too expensive ! I determined long ago that if I ever caught one worth mounting that I would try to get a good photo of it, then have the photo enlarged and framed, with a plaque stating size, weight, place and date caught ! If I can get the photo done quickly, then I can release it to spawn again and for someone else to catch !

here's hopin that you get that hawg Alph
every fisherman should be allowed to experience the thrills of catching a huge lunker

trouble is
you only wanna catch a bigger one
no luck so far
and like you my time is running dangerously close to zero

Sorry if I wasn't clear; I don't 'only' wanna catch a bigger one, as I'll take what comes along, but I would 'especially' want to catch a hawg soon ! Genetically, males in my family (both sides) average around 75, give or take a few years; kinda means that time's running out faster than I'd like, so sooner is definitely better than later !
