Eating fish that are stocked on an irregular basis is fine. I understand that drinking alcoholic beverages destroys more brain cells than eating sticked fish.
Trout are not plentiful, but area around Pine Island is better than most Right now the best fishing is for Sheepshead near docks and bridges. Water in the Gulf is cold. I would eat the fish, but not on a regular basis.
