The last guy who owned it put one of those cheap Asian built starters in my Yamaha 150. The whole shaft just snapped in half right below the gear. Cheap pot metal . Now both of my motors have nice high quality starters I should never have that issue for a while. Thank you for the great question.

I have fish to San Juan in the golden Waters up in Durango Colorado down through New Mexico. Obviously follow the hatch. There's a lot of great local shops that could help you and there's a ton of good fisherman we just spend all day chasing fish that have been more than willing to help you. It's nice to drive along the river and sea nice 5 to 8 lb trout swimming around. They protect their fish so as fishermen can really enjoy our time. Good luck and catch em up

We had an epic day one day we found some big fluke. The first one we caught was 13 lb followed up by a 7 pounder and several 6 and 5 lb fat fish. It was one of those epic days we made 3 drifts. When I went to start the motors one of my starters broke and I started my way home which took over an hour. I can't believe I had to leave the best fluke fishing day of my life. Can't wait for next year fluke season closed yesterday. Please share what you have done I would love to read people's Great Moments. My next post to be about people sticking fishing hooks in their hands and head. But let's get through this one first LOL.

For drop fishing you can tie A drop loop so weight is below hook or jig. If there is alot of snags l use a rubber band attached to line it will save alot of hooks and leaders . You Tube is beat self teacher.

I believe there's an option on my either Garmin or my Lowrance. I have seen where it said I've gone 43. I may go after dinner and I'll do a little research. If you find out something please let me know. Great question

So if fishing is closed in New Jersey for stripers can you still catch and release? We used to catch stripers up here in Connecticut that had tags on them from Chesapeake Bay
