Nothing 'obviously immoral' about it. I don't buy your build up to the question at all. I think your some liberal moralizer pontificating about how 'fish feel'.

I bet that there are a number of things that you use to do that you can't blame the govt. because you can't do now.

Nope, at 73 I have slowed down a lot, but I can still get in my Pontoon and fish. But now I do it in South Carolina....great fishing here. We have everything, Salt, Brackish, Fresh, rivers, lakes, Ocean, Harbor. SC is easy on the rules compared to our West Coast friends while still protecting the fishing environment.

Just another reason I could NEVER move back to my birth State. Too many bureaucrats.

My first boat was a 32' Chris Craft w/twin Chrysler 360's (half a mile /gal) Anyway the saltwater cooling inlet pipe thread cracked and the previous owner sealed it with wire coated with grease. It worked long enough but not good enough. While I was away for a business trip the wires loosened and water came in. The bilge pumps lasted a good while and the Marina operator noticed the aft of the end of the boat was quite low. Water up to but not into the carburetors thankfully. He saved the boat by putting more pumps with fresh batteries on the pier and kept it afloat till I returned.

My beautiful brand new bennington 20 ft pontoon boat. I have waited many years to cruise and fish out of one and now I have it.

I'll finish it for him................"as I led these beauties down ladder, I forgot to duck and knocked my self out. In the morning I found that all my fishing gear, my wallet, car keys, boat keys, two liters of Crown, my best hunting dog Scout, were missing. I got up from the shore, looked around to see the sheriff approaching and glanced to see that there was an open bag of assorted drugs scattered around me, in my pockets, just about everywhere. That's when my 9mm glock fell out of my shirt, hit the beach and discharged. Missed the sheriff by about 2 inches. I think I am in deep doo doo.
That's my story and I am sticking to it!".....................

I like that I can set my drag and then leaving the bail closed the fish can take line until I set the trigger in the back of the reel.

I am reminded of when I went aboard a Submarine and asked the FT if he had a problem they would say something like - It's broke or It stopped running or some other generalization but never a clear, concise answer. So, please tell me, WHY is a KastKing junk? What is crap about the KastKing? What model/s specifically.
