How come I never hear them mention it EVER? I here the Opposite group constantly say this same thing but I never hear what they claim. I hear that they don't want criminals having them but that is far from what I constantly hear the other group claim. I am not scared or fooled. I will never buy into their claims that are simply to create fear. How many times has someone come to your door for them RJS?

O"Rourke came right out and said he'd sign an EO to confiscate all arms except the Police and Military if elected President. Mike

I know brother, but thanks so much for tellin everybody else where it is. I'm really just pretty whipped from all this today. Wayne, MT, and I are kinda close and it hits pretty hard. Right now I could use all the help I can get with all this. At times today it's been really hard for me to see the keyboard if you know what I mean.

I sent that to you figuring everyone else would see it. Tried to send the map but couldn't.

I know what what you're dealing with. My wife is going down hill quickly and I'm at my wits end trying to get her help and the Medical community don't seem to give a darn. At any rate I've got you, MT and Pam in my prayers.

One thing you might ask MT is if Pam is going to be ok financially. Just asking. Mike

Guys and gals, I need some help. My wife is in bad shape and I think I'm losing her. I had her in the hospital on Friday. She's malnourished and dehydrated and has been for some time. I haven't been able to get her to eat in 5 days and very little for months before that. I've tried getting electrolytes and ensure in her but she will take a sip and is done. She was so weak I was afraid to get her down the six steps to our house so I called the Rescue Squad and they got her into the car. I was hoping they would keep her at least over night to get some nourishment into her but they didn't. She was so weak that I barely was able to get her back into the car. It took 15 minutes to get up those six steps.

Her name is Gail. What I need are a bunch of prayers. I thank you in advance and you don't need to respond to this because I know most of you and feel pretty sure it's a done deal. THANKS! Mike

Project Healing Waters in MS has 2 regions. Foxworth is pretty small. Doesn't show on MS map. Anyone know which part of the state Foxworth is in? That would determine which region we want to donate to in his name. Just a thought.

Foxworth is an unincorporated community and Census-designated place in Marion County, Mississippi. It is located near the intersection of U.S. Route 98 and Mississippi Highway 35, approximately three miles southwest of Columbia along the west bank of the Pearl River. The community is named after Frank A. Foxworth, one of the first white settlers in the area.

It's in the south lower center part of the State about a quarter way up from La. border.

Thanks OJD. I've been checkin those out and just don't know which one to choose. Several like "Project healing waters" is just about fly fishing. So IDK if the guys and gals would be OK with one like that or they would rather support one that covered a broader fishing audience.
How do you feel?

Saw, sent the list to MT and let he and Pam choose. Mike

Thanks Al. Don't know which group yet, but we're thinkin of settin up something with the organization we choose and will be able to donate to them directly. At that time I would feel comfortable with giving out my credit card #.
I'll try to keep everybody informed and up to date on what we decide and which organization we choose.
Any other thoughts on which organization?

As long as it's a reparable org. it should be safe. Just make sure it's a one time donation. They usually state that their site is secure. Would be the same as ordering from Sportsmans guide etc. Mike

Thanks OJD, first lets find out if there are any other groups that anyone knows of that we might consider also. When we decide which group, I'll need all the help I can get.
IDK how to go about setting up how we need to collect the donations or anything like that.
Come on guys, lets hear from you?

One way would to get us his info, names, rank etc. and we could each donate separately via credit card to the one organization chosen in his and Pam's name. Mike

These work great for the venomous or doubtful ones. You grab them and put them in a cloth bag. For the non venomous ones you can grab them by hand just behind the head.. most of them will try to bite you so be careful. You can use the grabber for them to if you want to. I like the challenge of catching them by hand but I have been bitten several times.

You can also take a stick and pin their head down and then grab them behind the head. If you are doing this with a large snake such as a rattlesnake even with the snake tongs be sure to grab the tail also or that snake is going to have you doing a dance. They're strong as all get out. The ones to really watch out for are the copperhead and the moccasins they are both feisty. Mike

Yeah, but the thought of catching sends chills down my back, I am scared of snakes. To the point that I didn't want to go in the hen house to get him out even though I knew he was dead, and If I wasn't the only one here at the time, I wouldn't have went in and got it. I'm gonna stop now before Yall get the idea that I'm a wimp.

Nothing wrong with being afraid of snakes, we all have our fears of something. Snakes are just something I've had a lot of experience with and as I said everything where I worked was protected so on occasion we'd have to remove snakes from certain areas. Mike

Medium size tree fell early this morning but no damage got to get my saw out to clean it up very grateful my dogs were ok

After Isabel I had my big trees removed. Scary as heck watching two 100' plus pine trees bend almost in half. Thank the Lord I managed to get the last generator at Lowes the day before and get an electrician friend to rewire my house so I had power. My wife had just compound broken her leg and had a fixator screwed to it, still has metal and screws in it. That's one leg that will never break there again. We stock up on H2O and have a 2 year food stock so that's no worry but trees can wreck you day during a storm. Mike

You wanted an answer can't pass that solution up. You could be the only one in your neighborhood to have one. Heck start a snake killing business with the Mongoose.

Mongoose won't eat eggs but will eat chickens. Mike

Where I worked everything was protected so we'd catch and relocate including the poisonous snakes. Mike

Exactly how pray tell do you go about keeping snakes out of a chicken coop? Our hen house is one of those hand built sheds, unless I leave them closed up in their house all day, their isn't any way to keep them out. I know that snakes serve a purpose, but like all animals once they become a problem, they must be dealt with.

Catch them and relocate them. Mike

Hey 𝐂BD , you just killed your best rat killer . They even eat other poisiness snakes .

I agree. I worked at a 760 acre campground park for 23 years and would regularly catch the various snakes from black rats to copperheads and cane break rattlers and move them from where people were. The black rats I would put in our compound to keep the mice, rats and other snakes at bay and I caught the black rats by hand which usually freaked out the campers as every snake is a dangerous snake to them.
