Well guys, I just got off the phone with MT. He was havin a better day today and was able to talk with me for about 10 min or so.
He's doin bout as good as can be expected but they figure he might only have bout 2 weeks left.
I ask him if we could do anything like send flowers or anything else and he ask me to do something else.
He ask me to possibly find a disabled vets fishin group or something like that and make a donation in their, his and Pam's , name.
So here's the deal.... Who on here would be interested in donatin to a fund for that and what group should we donate to?
Please feel free to PM me with any suggestions OR help cause IDK how to set anything like that up.
HOWEVER, we need to get on this right away cause time is of the essence.
So let me hear from you guys and let me know what you think. Thanks so much. Steve.

I've heard nothing but good stuff about Project Healing Waters. That's one suggestion. Got to figure out who's gonna collect the money and how, and how that person will make the donation. I think it's a great idea. Let's do it.

I saw a special on them as well...looks to be a great organization and they have many chapters across the country. Should I contact one of the guys near me to find out the best way for a group to donate on someone’s behalf?

Thanks OJD, first lets find out if there are any other groups that anyone knows of that we might consider also. When we decide which group, I'll need all the help I can get.
IDK how to go about setting up how we need to collect the donations or anything like that.
Come on guys, lets hear from you?

Hey Steve,
Most charitable groups will do donations on-line with a link so donors can pay with credit cards, e-checks, etc. That would be a lot faster than collecting donations, then sending them in. All we should have to do is decide who we want to donate to, call them, and get a link set up on a FS post.

OK, that sounds like what we should do then. As soon as we decide which group to donate to. Thanks.
