Is anyone on here an advid flathead fisherman in Georgia that enjoys the tussle of catfish on they're line? If so are there any suggestions as to some good fishing spots in any lakes or reservoirs in Georgia that you have good fishing with big Catfish and I'm looking for a fishing partner as well that loves to fish
Going Catfishing in the morning and I've prepared some sliced Chicken breast with some anise, cherry Kool-aid and olive oil
Whats your opinion on this?
I use size 6.0 circle hooks but, thanks for the advice
Ok, thanks for you poignant answer to my Inquiry and you keep in touch ok.....
Heyyy there RJS; how are you doing? Hope that you're safe from this Covid I knew somehow you were gonna give me a solid answer.... Thanks, just wanted to see the message coming from you. Now, I feel better about what I'm doing. But, while I have your attention. Have you ever heard of a fish attractant called " ANISE"? A lot of fisherman have started to use this on they're baits now and I was just wondering if you'd ever used it or heard of anyone using it before. Keep in touch more and thanks for your input on this.....
I've grown to love flathead catfishing. Due to loving the sight of my rod flexing when a flathead getting my bait tries to swim away with it on the line. But, I was wondering what other fishermen use for baits in Georgia other than Chicken livers, Shrimp...etc.?
Robert you seem as though you're a doggone good fisherman and I enjoy hearing from you so, I'll definately consider your advice over all. I mostly fish for FLATHEADS but occasionally I catch blues but, I appreciate your advice. Keep in touch from time to time and maybe one of these days we'll get to fish together.
I need to know the best known bait for Georgia Catfish so that I can get better at catching them in lakes and reservoirs
Went to West Point,Ga yesterday caught 3 nice Catfish on chicken livers and did'nt get to take any photos of them....sorry bout that.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where you can go catch some.flathead catfish at that's a hot spot????
Thanka for the advice R.J.
Shrimp sounds good. But, live baits work great!!!! Especially medium sized bluegill
