Mercury 150hp. Biggest that will fit on a pontoon. Couldn't afford a tri-toon.

It's a beauty, PapaJ. Tritoon or a pontoon. I should really have one for Marion, but where ever we stop to eat on the Miss. River, we have to climb steps, and Marion can't do steps.

Put some fish scales on it.

Thanks Fly. Pontoon. I have a propane grill that attaches and hangs over the outside of the rails on my Christmas wish list. Maybe Santa will come through.

Papa J you will be a happy man now. Enjoy her brother. 👍👍

Thanks. It's a LOT bigger than I really wanted but it is what my wife wanted and it will be good for the grandkids to play on.

Treats are great. We train our agility dog and other dogs with treats, specifically the "Click and Treat" method. There's a lot of good information on the web and YouTube about that method. One thing I would say is to try to change the dog's attitude (obvious) instead of correcting the growling. A dog's growl is their way of saying, "I'm about to bite you." If you punish the growl instead of changing the attitude you can very easily create a dog that bites without warning. That's not a good thing. Just my .02 cents worth.

Various part time jobs like pizza delivery, etc while I was supposed to be attending college. Flunked out for not going to class. Did a few years as a police officer in a small town then worked in oil field in West Texas for a few years. Ended up going back to college and actually went to class. I got my degree and spent the next 34 1/2 years working as a computer programmer then analyst and then manager in the IT department for a defense contractor. I will be retiring 29 October after a good career in IT.

I've had one for about 3 years now. I stopped wearing it a few months ago for what some might consider a strange reason. Instead of being a useful tool to track my exercise I had become a slave to it. I felt like I just "had to" complete all of the exercise chores (close the rings) each day or I was a failure. Weird, I know. So I took it off and rarely wear it now. Overall I would say that they are great devices if you don't let them run your life.

I have 17 more working days until retirement.

One of the MANY things that I'm looking forward to is sleeping when I want to sleep and getting up when I want to get up. I frequently wake up at 3:00AM and have trouble going back to sleep. My "wake up time"is 5:30. So, 3:00AM is too early to get up. Well, in retirement I'll just get up and watch TV or do some chores or something and then go back to bed later for a nap.

It's the "little things" like this that put the icing on the cake....

jps

My new boat was "supposed" to go onto the production line Monday morning. We found out yesterday it has been delayed until "at least" 10 October. <sigh> It might be Christmas or later before I actually get it.

HUGE tournament. Hundreds of boats with a lot of the big name professional fishermen. Not a good time for amateurs to be on the lake but it is interesting to watch.

I'm going to attempt to go watch some of the madness on Saturday afternoon....from the shore.
