YES to all the above. We like the communing with nature, the outsmarting part and you Deljohn are right on with that patience thing! I’ve taken non fishers out who couldn’t wait to get back in - they couldn’t understand cast after cast without catching anything. Great post plumbob; food for thought . Yes God is everywhere and you can be with Him wherever you are but —- He does say,” I will be with all who gather in My name,” He just doesn’t say how many. I think it could be just you and Him communing in nature or wherever.
One of my pet peeves is someone telling me I’m sitting in their seat when I’m visiting a new church. If I’m in a good mood I’ll just move but if I got up on the wrong side of the bed, with my hard headed German side showing, I been known to retort “ I don’t see your name on the back of the chair or pew!”.
I know it’s not nice in God’s house so you’re just gonna have to forgive me, I”ve asked God and He has said “ I forgive you my son”. Nuff said.

As a kid traveling with parents, all eyes were always looking for the Burma Shave signs, except Dad, his were on the road - didn’t want to be a riddle on one of the signs himself. Fun times!😀
