Nice to hear from you BC. I was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base in early 70s, those lakes can get big water in a hurry! Hope your fishing improves!

Thanks Griz. I am out of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Native of East Texas, Nacogdoches to be precise. My usual lakes are Ft. Gibson, Skiatook, and Tenkiller. Did make a spring trip home and fished Fork and Naconiche. First time at Naconiche, amazing fishery but a huge amount of vegetation!

I have a 17 foot 2014 bass tracker. Great little fishing boat, but one major problem. It is so light it is a real pain when trolling with electric in the wind. Yesterday I tried dragging a light weight anchor with flukes closed, didn’t work! Any suggestions on how to control the back end of the boat? It’s all over the place even in a fairly light breeze.

Howdy folks! I really enjoy reading all the post I see on here. Having said that, let me introduce myself. I’m Robert, username is Bert1949. I finally got to fish with my youngest son yesterday, we had a great day! Caught a few fish, nothing spectacular but truly enjoyable!
