I went to Punxsutawney last year with my FL girlfriend. On the way, I said we have to get her some better boots and quality long Johns to put under her sweat pants.
We left my PA hunting cabin about midnight, drove through a serious snow squall, almost turned around... arrived at a parking lot about 3 , opened the back door of my truck and the brand new long Johns fell out smack in the middle of a mud puddle. She asked” hey, should I shimmy into those long Johns now?”

The next 1/2 hour was painful. Lol.

We climbed on a bus , got a great spot to view the events up close , probably about 20,000 people showed up right behind us. Singing, music, dancing, fireworks, more singing, the national anthem by the USNavy choir, .., the groundhog was brought in by a half dozen game wardens, two of which had their hands on their gun, (peta threat) State troopers escorted the groundhog club guys with big top hats.

I keep joking with my girl that we are going again, she’s like “ hell no! That was nuts !!” We had a blast. A very cold cold blast. 2020 was a crazy year.

The news story said a pickup was on 41 southbound going approx 100mph at 2AM, wipedout on curb, rolled, bounced , airborne, landed inverted on top of fishin franks store. Then caught fire, then the whole place caught fire

Didn’t see the news, went there for bait one day and was like ??? Huh??? Must have passed it. Did pass it. Drove by again, was like ????huh???? Well let’s see. There the circle k. There’s the Walgreens. It’s.....GONE!!!
