Just realized I have done business with a Brian McKIBBIN, if I spelled it correctly, he has a Trailer Sales Lot, near State Road 20 and SR 15, North of Goshen, IN.
I hear you on the NOT distance driving Hoosiers. But I think as we age we mostly trend that way. But I have also observed that Hoosiers certainly seem to do a lot of shall we say NOT TOO CONSERVATIVE local driving?!🤣
My respects/regards to your Mother. My Dad made it (approximately) that far also, but in Wisconsin.

Seems you’ve gotten around a lot in your life, Spirit. Ever get back home much?
ECarl
Don’t believe I know a McKibbon off hand, but the name sure sounds familiar, seems like auto sales.
That’s what I noticed in your post, Spirit, LaGrange, IN. We live outside of STURGIS, MI.

Mealworms in Wyoming are great for Trout. Mealworms bought in Northern Indiana were so dang small and fragile it was almost impossible to get/keep them on a hook. But I guess the pet keepers - Lizards & such, liked them.
MAS fish, sorry for the misunderstanding. I was trying to explain the purchase and our use of FRESCO Spice Blends, particularly their Signature Blend & their Dill Lemon Salt blend, for breading fish.

Here’s hoping you have the same satisfactory experience and ENJOY.
It HAD been available locally - KROGER and Meijer. But now very few retail outlets. I’m an old fart and not very adept on the computer, but ordering/paying/receiving happened with out a hitch. We have been quite satisfied with the product. They are out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
I (need to) keep it pretty simple. Drain the fish then pat dry w/paper towel. In a plastic bag I’ll mix two to two and a half of corn meal to one of spice. Put a couple fillets in bag with meal/spice mix and shake it up. Carefully pick out your fillets, pan fry in SHALLOW oil.
Spice we like is by FRESCO Spice Blends, on-line. Mostly like the DILL LEMON SALT blend or SIGNATURE blend. This gives you a thin and crunchy coating with seasoning.
An adult beverage on the side, as a flavor kicker might also help!
Re. The Hydafoil, the only people I have found that had praise for the Hydrafoil were the sales people trying to sell them. I bought one, had to crank up my nerve to drill holes in a Honda, installed it, couldn’t see any appreciable difference. Do as you wish, but I wouldn’t pay the price again.

Further suggest you contact Old Town Canoe. They’ve been in business a long time, surely know their own product, give you good advise.
