Use a heavy thumb on the real to start with until you get used to the BC. I use fully spooled braid on my BC and spinners. The only time I use mono or fluoro is 4 leader. All of these replies are great. Even the ones that show personal preferences. Don't throw out the Spinners. They are good in many instances. Example Ned rigs and Drop shots. Fish on!

Found some trout. Z MAN shrimp under popper. Fast moving water. Pitching along the grasses. Caught 6 not including a couple misses. All pushing 16" and better. That 18+ was a fatties. All CPR.

Where are you located.
The reason I ask is that you may have Outfitters in your area. My first kayak was a ride 135 by Wilderness Systems. I bought it from a Outfitter at a good price because it was slightly blemished.
Many questions have to be answered. What type of fishing do you do? Do you sight fish? Searching your local area may allow you to purchase more kayak than you think possible.

By the way I have two other kayaks. Both Hobie. PA's. I got them both at a very good deal. They are both pedal kayaks. I like to cast a lot when I'm fishing both freshwater and saltwater. And i stand when sight fishing. I mainly fish artificial bait.
