Your cable is ready to break
Worth about 50 bucks if in new Condtion . Use it and enjoy
The guys at bass boat central will have a much better idea about props than this forum . I can t imagine that dropping 4 inches in pitch and 3/4 of and inch in diameter would not jerk the boat out of the water and bump the rev limiter . If the props are aluminum it will be hard to get a real feeling as there will be a bunch of flex in the props . I own a turbo two 21 inch stainless that needs a new home . But I don t think a 115 can swing it .
Best of luck
I use Seaguar Fluorocarbon leader and I am very satisfied . In fact , I use Bass Pro Shop brand which is made by Seaguar . In fact , the adhesive line tape on the spool says Seaguar . The Sun line fluorocarbon leader is also very good .
KastKings are nice inexpensive reels , they don’t compare to a high grade Shimano , Diawa or Garcia . My last Shimano DC Curado was 250 bucks . A KastKing Royale is 40 bucks are the Shimano s 8 times better . Probably not, but if you can afford it , the Shimano s are very nice . Same is true about the high dollar Diawa and Garcia .
But for inexpensive reels the Kastking is not a bad reel , I have 3 Kastking bait casting and 4 spinning reels . Understand I probably own 25rods and reels .
Tackle warehouse is great but they are backed up . My order just got shipped yesterday , I placed the order a week and a half ago . My experience with Amazon has been great , I ordered rods and they were packaged correctly and received on time .
If time is an issue might try Amazon . Don t miss understand Tackle Warehouse has the latest stuff and in general has great service .
Try “ pitching or flipping “ with a spinning reel . Bait casting reels are much easier to control than spinning reels . Of all the people that made a living fishing only Tom Mann and Billy Westmoreland used spinning reels . Just try throwing a 3/4 oz spinner bait on a spinning reel all day long and you ll see why people use bait casting reels . People that make a living fishing use equipment that is the most effective .

Loomis , if there is a better rod made Loomis will make it . RNX are the ultimate
If Syracuse , NY is in China you might be correct , if not they are made in the US ...period full stop ! Penn on the other hand manufactures only the Senator and International series in the US . Which is only a small percentage of their line . Might check facts .
Some of the area below the locks are good for catfish and strippers . You will need a good boat as the water can be very dangerous. And the fishing is specialized. As for bass fishing , the 1987 Bass Mater classic tells you a lot , On the first day 41 angler caught 71 bass , the leader caught 3 bass that weighted 7 pounds . Larry Nixon won with 17 pound . Taylorsville lake is close to Fort Knox and is a pretty good lake. Rough River and Nolan Lake are also reasonably close under 50 miles .
B O A T short for Bring Out Another Thousand !
A drift sock is generally located on the opposite side of the boat that you are fishing . I set my my drift sock about 4-5 feet off the side of the boat from the wind direction to slow the drift down . And you fish on the opposite side . I have caught a lot of fish with the drift sock deployed and never had a problem. They are a hassle ! And a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled into it does not work , buy a drift sock .
