thanks, guys; we usually fish the canal with 8" and 9" black and dark blue worms on 20# test line and the stump field with whopper ploppers, lunker lures and of course, shiners. and we always catch the more prominent bass on shiners using 20# - 30# test line. good fishing and tight line to all.

What fishing reel, rod, line, and bait should I purchase? Very new to fishing.
