I was up fishing the LoTW for 4 days and yesterday morning, on the way back, I called her to see how she was doing because she wasn't good the night before when I had talked to her. She said that she was going to call the Emergency Care and see if Amy, the neighbor, could take her over. She had just gotten back from EC when I had gotten home. It was her asthma, combined with her allergies and her COPD. They gave her enough prednisone for five days, and they thought that that would do it. We will have to see.

Yesterday at the local nursery I saw an older lady pushing a cart with a couple of plants out to her car. She was kind of shuffling along and grunted a bit when she opened her car door. I made some kind of comment about the "golden" years being not so golden and she looked at me smiled a huge smile and said, "Getting old ain't for sissies!" What a spirit lifter, she had to be at least in her mid 80's. Looking forward to your pics and my regards to your missus......
