I'm new to this Forum and very glad to see questions and responses to fly fishing. I collect items related to fly fishing but my passion has been fly tying. There are no trout waters close to me so I use those same flies used for trout to catch bluegills and bass. One of the most effective is the ant tied very easily with a strip of foam and some hackle to help keep it afloat. Using a 3 / 4 weight rod when a big bluegill slams into it is one of those small thrills you get and the satisfaction that you caught a fish on something you made. Fair winds and tight lines...

They also made a 308 along with a 309. Same configuration except one is left hand and the other is right handed. I use them on my light an ultra light rods.
