I am in Durham area for six months purchasing a boat to get some fish. If anyone to join me just txt me. I have been living and fishing FL west coast so fresh water trout fish iam rusty haven't fish fresh water for 25 years. not looking for anything but fishing so wives can feel ok husbands fishing with a woman. Lol I grew up with four brothers so always a tomboy. Hope to meet some friends

Let me say that I lived in FL the last 22 years and the heat and humidity has tripled in my opinion. I live in Pinellas Park FL in Tampa area. I had to leave and come to Maine for the summer. A lot of my family live up here so it is great and it is where I was born in Portland Maine so I love it. I would love back to Maine full time but I have my mother to care for and she isn't to fond of the idea of snow and cold weather. Lol I just want to go ice fishing.🤣. The heat in FL is terrible. I'm retired now after 30 years of nursing so I just want to fish and relax.

Actually I'm in Maine now for five and half months will be clamping in Freeport. I purchased a 16' V bottom boat with 6hp mercury four stroke with trolling motor and fish finder so hopefully I will be able to get some spring trout or and salmon.

Hello everyone I'm coming up to Maine to stay at KOA campground for the season and want to do some trout fishing. I don't have a boat so will be doing bank fishing or creek fishing, lakes, ponds. I have studied the laws and will be up May 1st 2023. Anyone have any areas for me to check out? I grew up with four brothers so fishing in WV and Maine is all I know but rushy living in FL last 22 years. As I said don't have a boat waiting until next season. Thanks in advance

If you can get live shrimp or a few pin fish I would advise that. Believe me you won't be sorry. The sheephead are still in so mud crabs or fiddler crabs are good to use on a long shanked hook. I don't leave till the 29th of April hit me up I will meet yeah down there if you would like. I always setup a pin fish pole and then fish crab or shrimp with my other.

Oh yes I remember as a young girl fishing with my dad catching pickerel and bass in Forest lake. My uncle owned a camp on Thomas lake and we caught eels and huge bass there. I can't wait to get there at the beginning of May to start my adventure. My fishing partner will also be excited as he has never been to Maine.
