I am a retired nurse that is coming to spend first of many six months times, spring to winter, in Durham maine. Would enjoy someone to fish with. I have fished for trout, bass in west Virginia growing up and last 22 years saltwater fishing here in FL. I no longer have a boat and don't care if you have a boat or not just someone to sit with and give each other tips of catching fish.

Good morning, and welcome to the Stage, Lf, A Happy Easter to you. That is a nice snook, I have done a lot of saltwater fishing on the Gulf Coast, but I have never caught one. But, I have never targeted them either.

Thank you Jeremy I hope to catch some trout and salmon in lake sebago among other lakes. I have caught many saltwater trout here in Tampa Bay Florida but haven't been fishing freshwater for 25 years a bit rusty. I come from a long family line of fisherman and woman we all love it. Good luck to you as well this year

Hi Retrieverman, definitely not a cobia. I've caught many cobia. Look up a picture and you will see big difference in the build of a cobia vs. the pictured here. Regards, Steve

Fisher, that's a COBIA sorry but no book can you find any different. Any salt water fisherman will tell you that.
They do put up a good fright, not my favorite fish to eat.
Thanks for the picture hope you have a great week 🙏
