Beautiful boats. I like the red flag. Thank you! As a boater, kayaks scare me. They are so hard to see. Have fun. Stay safe. Stay visible

Thanks. I plan on it. I read what happened to that Kayak on Lake of the Ozark. We will be flying flags and will be lit up like a christmas tree when I return. Thanks for watching out

You will love Stockton Lake!
I’ve got 4 acres by Cedar Ridge access, but fish last few years closer to Springfield, Fellows Lake.
When you get settled up there,
I’ll put you on some productive spots.
Tight Lines!

Thanks Bill. Appreciate it

It is my goal. Had to come back to Cali to work, but next May I am done and going to spend my time fishing. I hope!

Spent the summer doing almost everything but fishing due to responsibilities I did not expect. I was able to get a day in with a guide on a bass boat, and three days in the kayak. All on Stockton Lake in Missouri. Here are some pictures. Had a great time though fish were hard to find

And at the farm show driverless tractors were the rage. Every time the minumum wage increases, we find a way not to have to pay labor.

Great advice. I practiced in the yard, then moved to the lake. I did exactly what all of you suggested, and I had excellent casting results. No fish, and I drove away with my lure box on the top of the car :( . Lost a few old reliables and a handful of new ones to try. But I was able to cast with moderate efficiency. So not a terrible day.
Going out Thursday and Friday to try again. This time tackle boxes in the car FIRST

A phenomenal Exhibit of ag. I will be there tomorrow (Wednesday) at the education tent. Sadly no free beer. But an amazing experience. I suspect that there are little areas for fishing knowledge. Maybe next year.

3 of us took fly rods up to the river, the 20 mile section, this past Saturday January 28th. Water was cold (46 to 48 degrees), murky, high and very fast moving. Mainly fished wooly buggers. No luck. Still a good day. McNally's burgers for lunch was a definite hit

It's a bit cool here in stockton. Minus 3 right now. Wife has kept me busy feeding horses and breaking ice in the troughs. Thanks for the encouragement. And yeah. I'd rather be fishing
