I haven’t been around the stage much, but I’m still alive and kicking. The first picture is from a trip with a buddy Friday before last. I only took a picture of the prettiest one we caught. We both got limits and let a few go. It was a beautiful day with delightful weather. The next day I went south by myself. I only caught the one rainbow, but had a great trip. I love living here in Utah. There are so many beautiful places to go.
We got that puppy Memorial Day weekend. She’s keeping us busy but is a lot of fun. One of my sons and I are talking about going camping this weekend. I hope to have more pictures to share. I’m not great about remembering to take pictures but every now and then I do.

Good morning everybody it is 61° and going to a high of 80° today.with all this I'm going to try and get this mowing cut down where it needs to be today. neighbors wanting to take a big pontoon ride tomorrow up river through 3 locks and dams to a pizza joint and have lunch 🤪. Share some pics of the new place Leo. What rivers did you say them was. The Forest and the Mississippi 🤔. Hey have a great start to your weekend 👍

Boy, I have a lot of trouble trying to post pictures. I have some of the pontoon ride the other day with our friends. It was such a beautiful day and absolutely no river traffic. But, for the life of me, I can't get them posted.

Ya. Whitey, The Forest River Campground is located where the Forest River joins the Miss. River. The Forest
River is just a tiny river, but it sounds good.

Well guys, Ben and I got to the Pet bout 0700. Got out to the fishin grounds bout 0715. I caught a little dink bout 0750 castin. Then we started trollin. We caught 2 more trollin within 5 min so we had 3 and we had only been fishin 10 or 15 min.
None were keepers but that was a start.
I have to say right now that last night George predicted that we would catch 34 fish today. I told him that might be true cause we were only gonna fish till bout noon or so.
We continued to put fish in the boat bout every 8 min for the first couple hours, then it slowed down a little to where it was every 10 to 15 min a fish.
At bout 10am we had 20 or so fish with a 20+ and a 21 incher in the live well.
At 1153 we had 33 fish and I told Ben we better hurry up if we're gonna make it to 34 fish by noon.
Right as I said that I hooked up. We landed a short and continued on. As soon as I got my line out I caught another fish. Now it's 12 noon and we have landed 35 fish. However, we still only have 2 in the LW.
We troll on down a ways and no more hits it's bout 1230. So we turn around and start back up river. 10 min later Ben hooks a nice one so I start reelin mine in and then BAM, I get one on. So we have a double on.
Ben gets his in and it's the biggest fish of the day bout 23+ inches. Then I land mine and it's 22+ inches. Both over 3 pounds. So that's out limit and it's 1245.
We head back to the dock and we're out of the water by 1pm. We landed 38 fish today in 5 1/2 hours.
The pic is Ben with the 4 keepers.🤠👍

Good Morning, Stagers!!!

Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

A busy day today, an appointment with the lawyer at 9:30, and Marion has a doctor's appt. @ 2:30. In between those times, we have to pick up a ton of stuff for the trailer in order to take it up tomorrow.

Have a good one guys and girls, enjoy your life, for life is way too short.

A good 2 days on the water in Mann's Harbor. All fish except the Black drum were not legal so most were released, the Redfish was tagged and released. That little 10" Redfish took a live 5" mullet under a popping cork.

Good morning, Uncle Rob, You had some action and some beautiful scenery, hard to beat.

Good night, Stagers!!!

Well, today was a good day, I got the condo all cleaned up, and washed some screens and windows on the backside. This weekend we going to be going up to the campground, Jim will be there and I'm going to help him and maybe we can finish up the trailer. I would like to get it all finished, cleaned up, and ready to go for us. It's a mess right now.

Your bedtime story for tonight:

What’s a dog’s favorite homework assignment? A lab report.

Have a good evening folks, life is short.

What in the world. They say it’s the lack of oxygen. Just wondering if someone had been there could they harvest them and eat them. I saw on the news also that the Florida coral reefs are in danger as well. One scientist said that it has a lot to do with climate change. I am sure that all the trash and junk we humans throw or leave out has something to do with it as well.

It hit Port Aransas, like 10 - 12 years ago and it went from a honey hole one year, to a nothing burger the next year. That's why we quit going down there. The Gulf side of FL. is the worst.
