It's called a Lizard Fish, about a foot long. I used him for bait to catch some Yellow tail.

You can get a decent pair of Water shoes between $20-40. They don't slip and it doesn't matter if you slip into the water. I use them all the time(except ice fishing)

These are lake Salmon so they are light pink to white meat. Not the red color you get with ocean Salmon.
