this is my daughter first bass, me and my 5 daughters started going fishing one day that summer just to have something to do,we had no way to go anywhere and Newport lake in Newport, Ar is just a couple blocks down the road. so they didn't catch anything that day but we had fun. so a couple trips late she still hasn't caught one but was really wanting to catch one bad. i told her just keep trying you will get one. well that day I'm standing there and she starts telling daddy i got one way do i do.. she was trying to reel it in but was so excited she was freaking out. i tell her just tell it in. so now we got it in and she wants a pic with it but wouldn't touch it..i said oh no that's not how this works.well with a little encouragement she is holding it and we get the pic...i was so proud.. now when she calls me and i tell her I'm going fishing she is telling me oh you goin without me.lol..we are half astate apart now and i tell her not being choice if i could i would take her. that's my lil fishing buddy..she loves fishing as much as i do...#memories#fishing buddies#daughters.are.awesome
