I use Mustang because I saw USCC had them on when they boarded me. They said they were very comfortable. I have to tell you I forget that I have one on. Whatever you decide is fine as long as you wear it. Just remember, they're not considered life vest on the boat unless you're wearing it.

I was boarded by the USCG for a routine safety check. I noticed that they were wearing Mustang automatic inflatable life jackets. I decided to buy them for the family, had some push back at first but my boat my rules. Now it's the first thing we do when boarding, after 10 minutes you forget that you have them on.

You should always have a lifejacket on the the dog ( if they can swim or not) especially in the ocean. They can jump or fall off, and if your not paying attention things can go bad fast.

Tips are very easy to fix, you can get a repair kit for $6, if you are happy with the rod just fix the tip. No more problems
