That’s a good picture and really nice bass. You could just do like the rest of us and say she was 10 pounds😂. You need to work on telling fish stories too🥴. Good luck on that 5 pounder. You have most of us beat with 4.8👍. The biggest bass I ever weighed was right at 4 pounds but all of my other ones were WAY bigger than that one.

Why did the end of your comment confused me lmao

Well …. I really thought I was finally gonna break that five pound mark yesterday… but unfortunately just shy of five… she weighed in at 4.8… second one I’ve caught weighing 4.8, but hey that’s alright… keep putting in the hours until the right fish bites my line!!!
Sorry for the bad picture … I really need to work on my selfie angles for fish pictures.. if anyone has and tips and tricks on that side of it let me know!!
And I also need to learn that asap because in my opinion this picture does not do justice what so ever… ughh I shoulda got another pic that was better…

Near bends in the river the channel usually runs on the outside of the bend, anywhere near downed trees or logs in the water, “usually having a boat makes it much easier to fish near downed trees and stuff, as u can tie right up to the tree and drop your bait straight down basically” check laws in your state for using cut bait, bluegill and mooneye are my top two favorite cut baits to use. If u wanna go for some monsters most will use live bait, in which bullhead is my go to for live bait. But bluegill , green sunfish are def right there to. I prefer to use C hooks or also called octopus hooks. Size 8 ot hooks is my preference.. with these hooks you don’t set the hook, once that kitty hits it you’ll know and all you do is start reeling .. hopefully this helps

So on June 7th -June 15th, I will be taking my first vacation in almost 12 years. I will be flying to SOUTH CAROLINA, MOUNT PLEASANT TO BE EXACT. I plan on fishing every day . That is after family time and such is over each day , or before it starts each morning, wondering if anyone on here is familiar with the area, or knows anyone familiar with the area. Would be awesome to be able to get pointed in the right direction to slam some big bass!! Oh and obviously ocean fishing will most def be on my agenda as I’ve never had a chance to fish the ocean in my life, I can’t wait, so I hope enough people see this and there ends up being someone I can reach out to or even someone that would be willing to take me on a fishing trip or something !!!

So me and my buddy headed out fishing to catch the walleye and crappie bite at dark, on the way to the spot i told him something good is gonna happen to one of us tonight. Well couple hours after being there … this fat toad decided he needed a minnow or two 🤣 .. my buddy said he’s never caught a perch in the dark like that. But I’d say considering it was my birthday yesterday I got some decent birthday luck? 14’ on the nose.

Memphis said it was a lot of FUN! He caught it on a texas rig senko. Said the fish got off right at the shore and he jumped in and grabbed it by the tail and saved it.

Now you gotta be pulling our leg on this one haha
