So on June 7th -June 15th, I will be taking my first vacation in almost 12 years. I will be flying to SOUTH CAROLINA, MOUNT PLEASANT TO BE EXACT. I plan on fishing every day . That is after family time and such is over each day , or before it starts each morning, wondering if anyone on here is familiar with the area, or knows anyone familiar with the area. Would be awesome to be able to get pointed in the right direction to slam some big bass!! Oh and obviously ocean fishing will most def be on my agenda as I’ve never had a chance to fish the ocean in my life, I can’t wait, so I hope enough people see this and there ends up being someone I can reach out to or even someone that would be willing to take me on a fishing trip or something !!!

How close to mount pleasant is that

1.5 hours..but it will be worth the trip! Straight drive from Mt. Pleasant, head north on US 17, and follow the signs to Myrtle Beach. If you're staying in Mt. Pleasant, visit the 1,200 foot pier that extends into the Cooper River beside the big beautiful bridge. Big redfish, Spanish mackerel, sheepshead, trout, whitening, etc. are being caught there. Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant also has a fishing pier with the same species of fish being caught.

Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant also has excellent seafood available from multiple restauarants. There are numerous fishing charters available in Charleston, in-shore and off shore. Have a blast! Be safe! Oh, by the way, there is also great fishing at Folly Beach!
