Just putting info out there for everyone Hunt. Getting new hubs put on the trailer next weekend but as soon as that’s done I’ll be out trolling and casting!

Reports have stripers moving into the back bays along New Jersey and up the Delaware River. Biting on plugs and worms. Temps are warm and the top water action is here!

They’re on the Susquehanna Flats right now but that’s a protected spawning ground, unfortunately. We used to catch cows there by now, every other cast, 40”ers. No catch and release anymore as of 3 years ago. They very well could be in the back bays of the shore now given the temps we’ve seen lately.

Stripers should be heading to Trenton on the Delaware by mid to late April. Bring your top water plugs! See you out there! As for the inland bays by the shore, they will start showing up end of March. Good luck!

I’ve seen stripers in the Delaware starting the end of March. They’re up near Trenton (big ones) definitely by the mid/end of April.
Usually the Susquehanna Flats are popping by mid March but we can’t even catch/release there anymore…

Not sure about bass but we fish in Canada 2 weeks after the thaw for Muskies, northerns and Walleye. They are ready to spawn and really hungry and we tear them up…

Unfortunately, in DE and PA, it’s tough to find straight gas. DE there is none. PA is spread out far. MD has many around marinas and some stations. I will only put straight gas in my motor.

I just brought my C-Hawk in for a repower. One of the largest dealers in the US had a 115hp in stock. The reviews I’ve seen, the people I know who run them and the videos on line sold me, not to mention the dealer had 2 in stock. He sells Yamaha and Merc also but the Suzuki is tops in his mind. The 5 year warranty is unmeasured too. I’ll be picking her up next week sometime..

I'm seriously thinking about a 2000, Monarch 22' Pontoon, with a 2013, 60 hp Suzuki ob with 60 hours on it. I have seen a lot of Monarch flat bottoms around but never a Monarch Pontoon. 20 years ago you would never see a Suzuki ob around, now they are all over the place. Your thoughts on each, please. I know Mel doesn't think the Suzuki can swim very well, but how does it run? Sorry, Jeremy, I could help it, plum made me say that.

My 18’ C-Hawk is hooked up to the truck ready for the road! I got lucky to find a 2021 Suzuki 115hp in MD and Danny’s Marine is putting it on tomorrow. My old Evinrude 100XP has done well for 35 years but it’s time to move on. Wish me luck!
