Bought a 9hook 2 had sonar problems constanly. Tech support could not fix problem. Had me send it back and sent me anouther. Stll had issues. One tech told me I got what I paid for. Said procceser was slow in that model and can't read at higher speeds. I had to send that one back and told me they were going to take me out of that one. Sent me a 9in elite ti and it works perfect. Touch screen, total scan tranducer has down scan and side scan. They made it right and I still support Lowrance.
Use to nail head on tree, cut from head to tail, both sides and then take pliers f rye om head cut and pull straight down to remove skin. Works for me.
The one I got was bad, sonar problems. They sent me a second one. It had issues there tech support couldn't figure out. Im a longtime Lorance guy. They finnally sent me an Elite Ti unit. I love this one. A tech told me you get what you pay for.
My hook came with 1.o and I had to get 18.4 as well. Still had sonar problems. I sent it back and they sent me back a different hook 2. It had intermittent sonsr problems, it would not alwsys communicate with the tranducer. A tech on the phone told me I got what I paid for. They sent me the ekite ti system after told them I was going to consider Humingbird. That elite Module is super good.
I've got it on elite ti modle, really good. Had a Hook 2, worst unit I ever bought. Nothing but Sonar problems. They finally sent me the elite ti model. It came with C maps. Much better than thr navionics chip I had.
I fish there and usually on Spinnerbaits, worms and Flukes. Its different every time I go.
Bass eat crappie. There probably spawning. The Bass will not be far behind.
Looks like a HDS model Lowrance. I had a HDS 7 looked just like it. Every model has different connectors.
I'm going down there tomorrow to look around for place to fish off bank maybe to the park. Haven't been there, live in Winter Park and mostly Bass fish. Like drowning shrimp now and again.
National boat covers just got one from them. Custom fit, very durable. Cheap.
