You need to drive a bit. Arivaca, Pena Blanca (if it still has water) Patatgonia & Parker Canyon all have LM bass. Tight Lines!
Great story. I caught my Arizona PB at Arivaca - 7.5 lbs- so definitely fish there. I have many stories about fish, no fish, racoons and cows grazing at night next to our camp.
You might also take a look at Patagonia Lake. There used to be boat campsites but you need to get there early. Check with the Park Rangers. Tight Lines for a former 'Zonie.
Welcome! Those are all good colors. You'd be surprised how effective Green pumpkin is in murky water. Tight Lines!
Good advice from Jim. As a former Zonie, I fished Roosevelt for many, many years. The usual bass stuff is a good place to start. The water is usually pretty clear so everything happens deeper than you think it should. Bass move around a lot in search of food so you need to cover a lot of water. Once you find a good area, saturate with drop shot or mojo rigs.
Start around 7 ft deep. There is plenty of structure so pay attention to your graph.
As a former Zonie, I fished Roosevelt for many, many years. There are no salmon, only warm water fish. Troll parallel to shore and watch your depth finder when you cross drains. Shad Raps will catch bass crappie sunfish channel cat even carp.
check with wildlifedepartment.com/fishing. If you find any redfish, please let us know.
You have some good choices more or less nearby. For offshore structure, I would recommend Murray or Arbuckle. Maybe Fort Cobb. Tight Lines.
Check with the area Game Warden. You can find on ODWC website.
If I lived in Sulphur I would be fishing Arbuckle today!
Welcome to the Fishing Stage and thank you for the report. I rarely fish Eufaula and am even less likely with the water down. Good info.
you really have to dig a little !

Welcome and tight lines from a former Zonie.
It's an "all-purpose" lure. Silver, gold, green & maybe brown or orange blades.
Welcome Rob. Near Stigler, Eufala and Kerr come to mind. The OK Wildlife ... (www.wildlifedepartment) has a ton of information. There is a book of maps: Lakes of Oklahoma, but it might be out of print. you may be able to down load it. When we moved to OKC 10 years ago, we took one or two day "drive-abouts" to see the various lakes, campgrounds, etc.
