Ok so finally I went fishing… we went to Arivaca Lake is super calm, they do have restrooms if using a motor boat has to be less than 9.5 hp is not that deep either, so this is the deal we went fishing husband, 2 kids and me…. Saturday was learning curve fishing knots (which i got poked by it NO FUN) and i was damn careful ok lets move onnn i really have an arm to cast and I gottttt weeds weeds weeds because is recommended a boat smh, ok was still fun i didnt get but a damn cold because we got to a 30f at night with windssss that i thought i was going to flyyyyy away… we were ready 4 season tent good sleeping bags for those temps all good I encouraged my husband to go at night fishing without us so he could enjoy it without the Rookie Fishers so he did he said he had a blast and damnnn he brought 2 good bass … i was like awesome now i know theres fish and those mofos didnt want my bait lol ok lets move onnn we all went inside needed to head out the tent about 2 am freeeeezing and there i see this slick mofo coyote taking the fish …. Rookie me forgot to out then in the ice chest my husband laughed because he said “here so you can tell someone else’s story “ i didnt get it till right now am writing 😂 but am glad those were not my fish hahaha i would have fought for them against that coyote 😂 NOOOTTT… well thats my first fishing story and if i tell someone elses story as mine 😆 “i went fishing did great after struggling a little the fish mannn they were jumping to my bait like nothing “ ( i wish lol)

Great story. I caught my Arizona PB at Arivaca - 7.5 lbs- so definitely fish there. I have many stories about fish, no fish, racoons and cows grazing at night next to our camp.
You might also take a look at Patagonia Lake. There used to be boat campsites but you need to get there early. Check with the Park Rangers. Tight Lines for a former 'Zonie.
