Had a P.E teacher who also was the principal in Elementary School up until about my 4th grade Mr. Bonham. If we were playing baseball and a couple of guy's had words, Mr. Bonham would bring out two pair of boxing gloves and make us fight. I got into it with a known school bully, we boxed I whooped him, but got a fat lip out of it. My grandpa confronted the principal about it, he said, it didn't matter if I had won the fight, but the head of the school encouraged it. My grandfather asked him you want to put those gloves on and step outside? No sir, then Grandpa met with a school board and brought a grievance against the principal he wasn't there for the next year.
