I have the exact same pair your talking about and they work for me in North Ga. & South east Tenn. Great for driving on cloudy days . they brighten up my vision and dim the bright sun glare on sunny days . on real bright days I would chose a darker pair though .
on the trout stream you can see into the water and find the fish . I hope this helps . But then I have three or four sets of glasses and i check which ones i can see the fish with before i start fishing .

Now that's a very funny story !!!!!
It was in the 1950's , in Ella Jay Georgia on the first sunday of the month we have dinner on the ground at church. this is a very wooded area being in the mountains . this little boy had slipped away from his mother and was just walking around , when he saw a rabbit run into a hollowed out log . Being a kid he ran up to the log and stuck his hand in to catch the rabbit . The rabbit had hoped right past a rattle snake in the log . But when the kid reached in he was bitten on the hand . He was rushed to the hospital and made a full recovery and is doing fine. maybe you can add this story to your collection and use it sometime . I enjoy reading your stories . Keep up the good work . and you would have made a great Editor if thats what you choose to do you have a gift for telling story's
Now that was a good show !!!!!!!!!

You made a old man smile !
my favorite minnow copy is a ZOO COUGAR size 4 or 6 in yellow or black . But the joy of fishing is finding out what works on that day in your selected location . Enjoy the trip and fish on .
Yes they are . A little trick that will help you out , When you buy fly's at a local fly shop they have those little clear plastic cups with lids , take a ink pen or a marker and write on the cup the name of the fly and the size of the hook then when you get home you can make a list of the fly's for your fly box then you will know which fly is what. You will soon learn the difference between them but it takes time , this will help you out for now .
Gordon Google the sinker guy he's on face book . he makes those sinkers , he lives in Jacksonville Fla . and ships real fast . He makes the best Sputnick sinkers that I have ever used . Tell him Ricky Brock suggested that you look him up for your sinker needs .
Korker makes a boot with easy to change inserts for the sole of the boot that should work great for you . Check them out .

I would suggest chest waders ( that's what i use ) . Be sure to use a wader belt for when you fall , so the waders don't fill up with water. Be safe ant have fun .
It looks like a Eagle claw L197 circle sea hook one of the best salt water hooks . RB
learn how to build your own leaders. There better than store bought leaders , you can adjust the leader any way you want by simply adding sections or taking away sections and you control the stiffness with your choice of leader material brand and size . George Harvey has a formula , that has stood the test of time and has always worked for me . Google his Formula and have fun tying your own leaders . Tight Lines
