I have several single ladies close to my age most a little younger and other than a dinner date or a movie or a female fishing buddy, I have no plans tying the knot with anyone. It's these younger women coming out of everywhere and they're aggressive. I explained I'm content with the way things are and I'm old enough to be their daddy or grandpa 🤣 I know some are up to no good and tell them I'm broke as a convict, so better have your own money. Many tell me men their age live off mother or are too lazy to work. It doesn't matter, I'm content with the way things are with no plans to marry anybody at my age!
I have several single ladies close to my age most ... (show quote)

My first wife left me after 11years of what I thought was a good marriage. She said she just didn't want to be married anymore. After a while I agreed to it. We reached a settlement and she and her kids, from a previous marriage, left me. Six years later I met and married Mary and for nearly 24 years we have yet to have a hard word between us; we are blessed. We have both had some serious operations, big "road bumps" but have held on tight. We can do all things "through Him who strengthens Me".

I'm 79 and if she goes first, I'll probably just get a dog for company or follow wherever the good Lord Jesus leads me.

Good Sunday morning friends. 😊

Its another cold and blustery morning at 15° and 15-20 mph winds. The claim is that we'll see 23° this afternoon. But a warming trend for next week and we should be above freezing all week. (There goes the ice Brad)

I'm taking a pork loin out of the fridge that I've had in brine for the last several weeks. I'll rinse and allow a pellicle to form and then smoke it for a few hours. Then I'll bag it and toss it in with the sous vide cooker at 140 for a few hours till it's finished..

The Wifey had started 2 big pots of soup yesterday for in the freezer. One is a beef vegetable and the other is stuffed pepper soup. The house smells good enough to eat!! 😋

Galaxies Colliding:

The New York Times, among other papers, recently published a new Hubble Space Telescope photograph of distant galaxies colliding.

Of course, astronomers have had pictures of colliding galaxies for quite some time now, but with the vastly improved resolution provided by the Hubble Space Telescope, you can actually see the lawyers rushing to the scene of the crash!

Have a great day folks!!
Good Sunday morning friends. 😊 br br Its anothe... (show quote)

I was partial to Hydrox. The cookie seemed less sweet. Always required a glass of cold milk. Had a blind taste test with my friends when I was a kid and no one could tell the difference. Hydrox have pretty much disappeared but are still made by a nostalgia baker. I’ve seen them in Cracker Barrel. Might be available online.

I liked them both; it's been years since I had either one. I'm sure she ment it in the kindest way when my sis called me "a walking garbage can" and would eat anything. I told her there are only two kinds of food; good and bad. If it's good, eat it ifn it's not.......well maybe...lol

Have Faith
Every day is a new beginning. Take a Dee breath, pray, smile and start fresh. You will never have this day again so make it count. Enjoy and may the Lord bless you with the right spirit, heart, mind and strength. Amen

I hope you all like it and I thank all of you for your advice on my question.

I like it!!! It might make a good wall board. Thank you.

Does anyone think that the people of Gaza are not supporters of Hamas?
The people of Gaza have been brainwashed for 70 years(!) or 3 and a half generations to h**e the people of Israel.
Does anyone think that they are going to tell Israel where their children are to the IDF?
Does anyone think that Hamas is not the people of Gaza?
Does anyone think that Hamas cares about their parents, grandparents, or other family members well being?
What other War, other than the 2 Nucs dropped on Japan, has there been warnings to tell the people to leave the area that there were bombs going to be dropped?
These are the questions that people have ignored with the "Free Palestine" movements. IMO
War is not nice, but it was declared by Israel after the Oct.7th attack.
War! Look at where Hamas has spent all the money sent to Gaza over the 70 + years.
It wasn't on the population of Gaza, that's for sure.
Sorry for the rant, but I just got fed up with all the lies and ignoring of the true history about Gaza and Israel.

Like I said before, the palistinians knew what hamas was doing and either agreed or were afraid to tell Israel about all those tunnels. Hamas didn't build 300+ miles of tunnels overnight; ifn they had I doubt that Oct 7 would've happened. IMO

Hello stagers,
It was just decided at the Bell house to get pizza for dinner and everyone was asked what they would want. My wife informed me that I didn't get to choose.
I don't understand why. Doesn't everyone like double anchovies and Goat Cheese Pizza? At least I don't have to share.
What is your favorite pizza toppings?
Now I'm hungry. Here fishy fishy!
Commander Bell out

My wife doesn't like anchovies at all so I ordered a pizza with anchovies on one half and the other half the way she likes it; the anchovies taste covered the whole pizza so she choked down one slice and I got the rest.....Ymmmmmm. She made herself some kind of sandwich.
I didn't do that on purpose and she made sure that didn't happen again....lol.
