Are you talking rainbows and such in a lake, or steelhead in the river? Natoma is good this time of year - very few people over there. Negro Bar is a great spot. Folsom also has trout in it. If you want to travel a little, Amador has their own stocking farms and it can be good this time of year also. Staying in the Natoma area, at the foot of the dam right off Hazel by the hatchery. Steelhead.

Thanks Spirit! Im going to resesrch those spots. I am looking for any trout, Steelhead, rainbows, brownies, etc. I'm not picky, just hungry hahaha!

Striper bite has been very bad past few months. I have driven from Sac to Rio Vista to Benicia and haven't had the best luck. I just got a new Phenix Trifecta Pro 8'6" and I want to break it in.

Will Travel 😁😁

Good afternoon good people. I am looking to switch my target species from Striper to Trout and planning to head out tomorrow.

I would love any advice on a body if water, techniques, gear, etc. Looking to head out early. I live in Elk Grove but am willing to travel, up to 100 miles. I have all 2021 licensing and steelhead card.

Happy New Year and any info would be awesome!

As a new Delta fisherman who has been mainly targeting Striper, the striper bite is just really slow right now because the water is lacking, from what I hear. Not enough rain.

I normally do well with anchovies and sardines but right now, nope. I normally fish snodgrass slough and a few other spots but have had to go out to Rio Vista and Sherman Island, even there the bites are few.

The Striper the bites have been better with live bait such as mudsuckers in Rio Vista and Blood or Pile worms in other places. Live bait is key but the caveat is there are still fewer fish.

Instead of Striper fishing this weekend like normal, it might be time to pick up my new steelhead rod and get to work.

Smoked some mountain whitefish and rainbow trout this morning. Gonna make a bunch of fish dip and give some away to neighbors and friends. Lots of folks like to give and receive sweets and baked goods, lol. But I’m doing salty and savory from the bounty of local waters, lol
And would like to thank all that have given me tips and feedback on smoked fish and fish dip recipes from a post earlier this year.
Happy Holidays to all on FS!

That looks might tasty, nothing quite likehpuse made fresh smoked trout. Well done!

My wife bought me some thermals from this site, www.uniqlo.com It is a Japanese company and its very cold in Japan. This stuff works.

I wear thermals, sweats and Jeans and I stay pretty cozy. I also premake plenty of leaders so im not tying out on the water.

How many of these lawsuits are SLAPP suits? (Strategic Lawsuit Against Political Participation). Intended to tie up the target’s time, attention and funds for political advantage.

I would say his lawsuits with the AG of NY are serious. This is no slapp suit.

"Prosecutors have suggested in court filings that the investigation could examine whether the President and his company engaged in bank fraud, insurance fraud, criminal tax fraud and falsification of business records."

Trump has repeatedly sought to block the DA's subpoena of eight years of his tax returns and financial records as part of the investigation"

Where’d you live the first two? Is A****A caused by g****l w*****g? They started most of the fires this year you know. Several were caught in the act. I’m sure I’d call that c*****e c****e. And yes, they’re far left promoted and protected. Google that one.

I'd love to see the evidence of this. Not doubting you, but share a link with your claims. As an American, I'd love proof. Lots of BS out there.
