Got em all but have to admit I’ve seen them before when I taught my 8th graders about reading carefully while preparing for standardized tests.
My dad told of walking the tracks in Racine WI with a bucket and picking up coal that had fallen off the passing trains.
Brown trout are pretty active in Racine and Milwaukee rivers and harbors. Spawn and tube jigs.
Badgers….Womens volleyball, hockey men & women, basketball men’s always potential bridesmaid. Football, work in progress
Looks very much like the mouth of the sturgeon bay Wi. canal
The Manitowish chain in Wisconsin is 10 lakes of various sizes, wide variety of species, restaurants and bars accessible by boat, resorts and VRBO aplenty, wildlife, close enough to touristy things. Been going there for years.
Heads up. A short in my 2003 Mercury 90hp regulator started a fire shortly after a launch. Fire quickly extinguished, check your fire extinguisher! Mechanic said it was the 3rd he’d seen this summer. The replacement part is pricey, $230, but has an extra fuse to prevent ignition. Mercury must know they have a problem.
I had some rivets leak, I covered them with JB Weld. More started leaking I painted the bottom with Flex Seal. 5years no leaks
That’s a sweet looking cedar strip boat. Know the brand? Looks like a Tomahawk my grandfather bought in 1950
I went through this with my granddaughter. 10, she would only hold the fish by the line for a picture. This week on vacation, she set the hook reeled in the fish and took it off unassisted. Go slow, teach them how to handle the fish, blue gills and sunfish have sharp spines in the fins. Getting poked will put a quick end to the day. I taught mine to hold the fish flat in the palm of her hand using her thumb to smooth the fins back.
I think the 3yo could have a rod line bobber but no hook. Wouldn’t want him/her flinging around a hook. They could take turns reeling in.
Depending where on Lake Michigan you are, taking it to a natural history museum might ID it

Any good thoughts about fishing the Fence Lake chain?
It’s a good chain. Fence is big. A guide could show you some spots. You could check with Russ Smith or his son Jake. They run smity’s bait in Minocqua.
There are 12 Eagle lakes in Wisconsin. If you are asking about the Eagle Lake in Racine county the Wi don’t site has a lot of information. It is a highly studied and managed lake
