Never cared for this store. I just checked it out today and found nothing of interest. Bass Pro, Cabela's, Tackle Direct, Sportmans Warehouse and even Walmart and many other stores have better deals; some with FREE Shipping ! Even the SALE and prices are kind of bogus. Cheap lamiglas rods ? LAMIGLAS brand fishing rods are neither cheap nor easily broken. I have over 100 rods; Fenwick and Ugly Stik rods that I love but my LAMIGLAS Spinning Rods are my favorites. Most rods are broken by careless users and accidents, not fish.

For about $30.00, go with the Shimano Sienna 500FG Spinning Reel. About the same size and weight as that Dock Runner Reel, but much smoother. This ultralight 6.5 oz. reel should pair well with that rod and any other ultralight to light action spinning rods. The Sienna 500 is one of dozens of reels I own and use.

That's a fine combo. I have a Pflueger Trion 30 with a 6'6" Ugly Stik medium action and have handled 8 lb. Channel Catfish. The Trion is almost as good as the Pflueger President 30 that I have and less costly.

I've had nightcrawlers alive for over a year in a plastic gallon jug. They thrive in Frabill Fat & Sassy worm bedding. About once a month I add a few tablespoons of used coffee grounds, some veggie peelings, and ground eggshell.
The worms like it and they even produce little worm babies. I keep them in the fridge. Be sure to drill some small holes in the jug lid. You could keep the worms in a cool basement.

That sure is one heck of a Big Pond !

Most "MONO LEADER" is the same as the companies regular mono spools UNLESS stated as more durable. It's a marketing ploy. You pay more per yard for the convenience of a smaller package and ease of carrying. Companies love the higher profit margin !
